Seeking Board of Directors Members for Norfolk Haldimand Community Hospice

Are you passionate about making a difference in hospice palliative care? Join us in shaping the future of Norfolk Haldimand Community Hospice!

We are seeking three (3) dynamic, dedicated individuals to serve on the Board of Directors for Norfolk Haldimand Community Hospice, a nonprofit organization focused on in developing and operating Hospice Palliative Care Centre with hospice beds where adults with progressive life-limiting illness, their families and their caregivers can access team based holistic and timely hospice palliative care both preceding and following death and help individuals live as they choose and optimize their quality of life.  As a Board Member, you will have the opportunity to guide and support our mission, ensuring we continue to make a positive impact in Haldimand & Norfolk Counties.

Board Member Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic leadership and guidance to help us fulfill our mission.
• Assist with fundraising efforts and resource development.
• Ensure financial health and compliance with relevant regulations.
• Advocate for the organization within the community.
• Collaborate with staff and other board members to achieve organizational goals.

Who We Are Looking For:

We seek individuals with diverse skills and experience, including but not limited to:

• Leadership in business, nonprofit, or government sectors.
• Financial expertise, including budgeting and fundraising.
• Experience in local healthcare system, community outreach, or advocacy.
• Passion for Hospice Palliative Care and a commitment to making a difference.
